The blade is 63 layers damascus w/Japanese high carbon stainless steel core, HRC：60±0.5, high quality material proudly made in Japan. High grade sharpness lasts long time. The sharpness will be far beyond your imagination. We realized outstanding sharpness because of sophisticated technique backed by an abundant of experience and knowledge accumulated over many years.
The classy octagonal handle “八角柄 HAKKAKU-E” is polished fascinatingly elegant. The handle end is engraved KANETSUNE SEKI brand logo mark “KUMADORI”. The handles are made of red plywood w/black micarta rings.

This KC-820s series comes with special Saya cover (sheath) finished by the technique used for Saya of Japanese swords (刀 Katana). The pattern called “茶石目 Cha-Ishime” in Japanese.
And these are stored in a classy wooden box which presents a Japanese tradition.
